Liverpool Street Gallery is delighted to present new work by one of Australia's most revered and underrated painters. Kevin Lincoln's unique and and timeless approach is distinguished by his sensitive consideration of his subjects, whether they are his personal collection of Japanese pottery, studio ephemera or even Banksia flowers. The still life, the self-portrait and the realisation of specific spaces have been enduring concerns throughout Kevin Lincoln’s career. This connection has recently been recognised by the The Art Gallery of Ballarat, which recently held a survey of his work from over 25 years of practice. 'Kevin Lincoln: The Eye's Mind' and the accompanying publication reflect the subtle, nuanced and understated surfaces that are key to Lincoln’s work.

“One of the most introverted and underrated artists in this country, Lincoln paints his own features with the same piercing objectivity he brings to bear on still-life subjects”
- John McDonald
The gallery is open 10-6pm Tuesday to Saturday
