The East and West MacDonnell Ranges stretch out for hundreds of kilometres on both sides of Alice Springs. The traditional owners of the Alice Springs area, the Arrernte people, believe giant caterpillars called the Yeperenye became the Ranges - they entered this world through one of the dramatic gaps in the escarpments of the area.
The area is enriched with history and culture and includes spiritual places such as; Emily and Jessie Gap, Corroboree Rock, Trephina Gorge, N'Dhala Gorge, Arltunga Historical Reserve and Rubi Gap.
Join me for 7 days in the East Macdonnell ranges as we paint this ancient rusty landscape.
When: Sunday 21st July to Sunday 28th July.
Cost: $2635 single and $2145 twin share
