Plein Air painting sites - Sailors Beach, Huskisson.
One of our stunning Plein Air painting sites. Look for the shelter on the brow of the hill. We get views down to and across the Moona Moona Creek Eustuary as well as glimpses across the bay. Moona Moona Creek is located between Huskisson and Vincentia villages. To get there, follow the main roads out of Huskisson township towards Vincentia - keep the beach on your left. Look for the small road after the caravan park - on your left. If you go too far, you will cross the small Moona Moona creek bridge - it often has kids fishing or jumping off it!!! Turn around and come back, you will find it easily this time round.:-)

Getting to Jervis Bay
Jervis Bay is located approximately 2.5-3 hours drive south of Sydney or 2.5 hours east of Canberra. You can take a leisurely drive or there are also bus and train options available. The nearest train station is Bomaderry located on the northern outskirts of Nowra. Buses and taxis are available from the station to the Jervis Bay region which is approximately another 30-40 mins travel time from the station. Due to our location being a regional area, public transport can sometimes be subject to availability, especially on weekends. For a stress free and and relaxing journey we recommend to conduct your research on your preferred method of travel along with a back up option (i.e. if buses are unavailable from Bomaderry station there are taxi services available) and bring a friend.
