Angus Nivison’s paintings have always alluded to the landscape, they are highly evocative and invite the viewer to draw their own conclusions. Having recently visited the Zhangjiajie region in China, Nivison references the art of calligraphy.
Nivison’s latest works are filled with bold and gestural energy, continuing his longstanding expressive practise.
